Vitamin Cream Mask

Vitamin Cream Mask is excellent for long-term barrier maintenance and deliver’s effective results. It is the perfect ‘pick-me-up’ treatment for a bad skin day…

Used as a nighttime moisturiser or treatment mask in the clinic this antioxidant product, enhances barrier protection and skin nutrition, improves hydration, uneven skin tone, and loss of elasticity, minimising the signs of aging and prematurely aged skin. It is jam-packed with active anti-aging ingredients that truly perform.

Vitamin Cream Mask Includes:

Vitamin A Nanoparticles:

Vitamin A is Retinyl Palmitate - a cell to cell communicator, encouraging skin cells to continue their renewal process and regenerate the production of collagen and elastin. It accelerates the cell renewal process which is the objective of anti-aging. Retinyl Palmitate protects skin and supports its regeneration, but it is less irritating than Retinol and therefore gentler, especially for sensitive skin. Vitamin A is even more beneficial for aging skin if used in combination with Vitamin C and E.

Benefits:

  • No 1 skin regenerator and normaliser.
  • Supports collagen formation (essential for the production of enzymes that build collagen).
  • Helps skin recovery and regeneration for UV stressed skins.
  • Antioxidant.
  • Supports and strengthens the Langerhan cells and skin’s immune system.

Lacking in Vitamin A can lead to:

  • Keratinocytes and melanocytes misbehaving.
  • Increased pigmentation.
  • Langerhan cells are not supported.
  • Lowered fibroblast activity.
  • Photodamage.
  • Lines and wrinkles.

Extra tips:

  • 100% enzymatic transformation into retinoic acid in the skin, post-application.
  • Vitamin A receptors in the skin increase during the course of application, go slow, and build up the strength of the receptors.
  • There is a higher dose of Vitamin A in the Mask with vitamins than adding 2 ml into a customisable DMS base cream.

Vitamin C Liposome Concentrate:

There are two forms of Vitamin C in DMS Mask with Vitamins: Ascorbic Acid and Ascorbyl Palmitate. Both work in synergy and have many favourable effects on the skin, the most important being:

  • The prevention of free radical formation
  • Stimulation and regulation of collagen production
  • Repair of photo-damaged skin
  • Control of hyper-pigmentation.

Ascorbic Acid and Ascorbyl Palmitate function as very effective oxygen species scavengers and antioxidants. They neutralise free radicals, reduce the amount of oxidative stress and damage to cells. They increase the level of inhibitors of collagen-degrading matrix metalloproteinase (MMP enzymes) and modulate collagen-synthesizing enzymes.

Benefits:

  • Stimulates Collagen Synthesis.
  • Protective of DNA.
  • Free Radical scavenger.
  • Anti-inflammatory.
  • Tyrosinase inhibitor.
  • Reactivates Vitamin E.
  • Strengthens collagen strands.

Extra tips:

  • Deficiency in Vitamin C can result in Purpura.
  • Vitamin C plays an important role in immune action.
  • Stress depletes Vitamin C levels fast.

Vitamin E Nanoparticle:

Vitamin Cream Mask contains two forms of Vitamin E: Tocopherol and Tocopheryl Acetate. Vitamin E is a vital ingredient for soft, supple skin. Studies show it plays an important role in protecting skin from environmental and oxidative damage. Dubbed the "protection vitamin", it offers anti-inflammatory properties and positively influences wound healing. Vitamin E prevents premature aging induced by UV irradiation and lipid peroxidation. Vitamin E protects cell membranes from the damage of oxygen radicals, and at the same time, acts as a skin moisturiser.

Benefits:

  • Free radical scavenger.
  • Antioxidant.
  • Supports epithelization (renewal of skin cells).
  • Increases hydration.
  • Improves skins elasticity.
  • Prevents lipid peroxidation.
  • Reduces diffused redness.
  • Anti-inflammatory.

Extra tips:

  • Vitamin E can neutralize only one free-radical at a time. It becomes inactive after neutralizing a single radical. When using for its antioxidant effects, always use Vitamin C as it regenerates Vitamin E.

D-Panthenol:

D-Panthenol promotes wound healing, helps restore damaged epithelium (tissue) reduces itching and inflammation, improves skin hydration, reduces trans-epidermal water loss, improves skin roughness, and more. It is not entirely proven how Panthenol achieves all these effects. Most likely, much of it is due to the conversion of Panthenol to Vitamin B5 (aka pantothenic acid), a component of Coenzyme A, which has multiple metabolic functions in the body. D-Panthenol helps to repair the skin barrier and reduces inflammation.

Benefits:

  • Calming and soothing.
  • Moisturising and reducing TEWL.
  • Skin Smoothing.
  • Inhibits itching.
  • Anti- Bacterial
  • Wound healing
  • Supports skin regeneration of skin
  • Stimulates cell proliferation (cell growth)
